Kiema Kilonzo was booed and bullied by Mutito residents during the burial of Chief Officer’s wife, Mr.Kimanga at Kawala, Mutito district.
The embattled Ambassador was cornered by the same people whom he ruled animalistic as an Mp from 2002 to 2013 when they kicked him out mercilessly from Political limelight. Things turned sour when he rose to give his speech, where he was not even featuring in the protocol. The mourners turned against him and booed him reminding him on how he misused them and ran constituency coffers dry.
Mourners were heard chanting ‘We wi king’ei muno, watutesie muno naku twakwonia, na twinaku muno we, vala welekele nituvene na uka oou ukite, tukaakuvalukya vyu’. His mother got shocked and in cold, she changed her moods, something that tells it all that she got worried on how Kitui East people could remind on how his son messed them up.
Kiema’s mother who doubles as his gubernatorial campaign manager was left in a rude shock, where she was forced to leave the burial unceremoniously. The angry residents added salt in the wound by further reminding Kiema on how he denied people of MUTITO a district during his era as an Mp and warned him against sympathising with them for his personal gains.
