Football Kenya Federation(FKF) Busia Branch has kicked-started preparations for the Branch League, but awaiting the nod of Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed.
The Branch League, that is sponsored by Odi Bet, will start moments after FKF headquarters receives greenlight from the CS. Only the Kenya
Premier League received the nod of the CS.

The Branch chairman Mr Hillary Musundi said they expect a maximum of 40 teams to participate in the Branch League to be divided into four zones of 10 teams each.
Teso North and Teso South Sub Counties are in Zone A will each sub county producing five teams.Other zones are Matayos including the Municipality, Nambale and Butula, and Samia and Bunyala.
FC Amagoro is the latest kid on the bloc with officials exuding confidence of their desire to stamp a mark in the league which will see two top teams in each zone qualify for the mini-league.
