AFYA HALISI GIVES TSEIKURU RESIDENTS A STATE OF THE ART THEATRE WORTH KSH25M

All the funding is from USAID

Today, rejected and failed Ngilu was yet on another ridiculous hotch potch affair to woo, blind and confuse the already fatigued Kitui nation.

The reject fled to Tseikuru market at the crack of dawn to ‘launch a modern theatre’ at Tseikuru subcounty hospital accompanied by a dozen of her slaves, lickers and mavoi

What the charlatanical woman and her mavoi didn’t confess is that the failed governor and her Juakali administration have zero input in putting up and equipping the modern theatre. The facility has been put up and fully equipped by Afya Halisi, an NGO operating in Kitui county with full finding from USAID.

REJECTED Ngilu was only invited by Afya Halisi, as a sign of courtesy, to officiate the launch and she opted to carry along a galaxy of her idle slaves and lickers and mavoi in the hope of confusing and blinding the electorate.

“Tunajua Afya Halisi walitupea hii project sababu tumeteseka sana hasa wakati huu wa Ngilu. Hakuna project amefanya outside Kitui central. Tunashukuru madam Wachira wa Afya halisi ambaye ametuletea hispitali…” Annerose Makau, a mother of 3 from Tseikuru told our desk.

We sought to find out who madam Wachira is and we indeed established she is the Afya Halisi officer who has been at hand to deliver the USAID funded project to a region totally neglected by Ngilu.

“It is true we put up the modern theatre after identifying a need here. We must thank our donors (USAID) for availing the funds” madam Wachira who also graced the event told our desk. Sadly for her, Ngilu’s slaves and mavoi didn’t recognize or mention her.

Ever since incompetent Ngilu came around, she has single handedly overseen the death of the health sector where even the health officers are a demoralized lot. Her looting front called Kchic in which she conned poor residents hundreds of millions died in the air like an eagle’s fart! Nobody knows where the millions disappeared to.

Doctors and nurses go for months without pay. Some have asked for transfers while others join private institutions. Others are being grilled by EACC/DCI for crimes committed by CO Muthoka – a Ngilu’s second generation slave and voi.
Health facilities across Kitui county lack even the basic of drugs and consumables. Babies routinely die in ‘nurseries’ due to constant power outages. Standby generators, CT SCANS, and theatre equipments have been looted in Ndee nation health facilities and possibly sold for profit. Ngilu is a failure through and through.

SHOCK AS AMB.KIEMA’S MOTHER PANIC IN A MUTITO BURIAL AS HER SON GET BOOED BY RESIDENTS.

Kiema Kilonzo was booed and bullied by Mutito residents during the burial of Chief Officer’s wife, Mr.Kimanga at Kawala, Mutito district.

The embattled Ambassador was cornered by the same people whom he ruled animalistic as an Mp from 2002 to 2013 when they kicked him out mercilessly from Political limelight. Things turned sour when he rose to give his speech, where he was not even featuring in the protocol. The mourners turned against him and booed him reminding him on how he misused them and ran constituency coffers dry.

Mourners were heard chanting ‘We wi king’ei muno, watutesie muno naku twakwonia, na twinaku muno we, vala welekele nituvene na uka oou ukite, tukaakuvalukya vyu’. His mother got shocked and in cold, she changed her moods, something that tells it all that she got worried on how Kitui East people could remind on how his son messed them up.

Kiema’s mother who doubles as his gubernatorial campaign manager was left in a rude shock, where she was forced to leave the burial unceremoniously. The angry residents added salt in the wound by further reminding Kiema on how he denied people of MUTITO a district during his era as an Mp and warned him against sympathising with them for his personal gains.

Dr Chris Wamalwa on the Amendments of Tax Rates

It’s ill-advised for the government to increase tax rate during this trying moment of Corona Virus pandemic.
According WHO ,we are guided by positivity rate , it’s unfortunate that our positivity rate is going up.

The basic principles when it comes to budgeting if the revenue has reduced the logic dictates you harmonize your programmes.
The big problem lies with our governance ,we have been adversely affected by corruption scandals i.e KEMSA heist.

At this moment the government should have put in more measures to cushion the country. It’s the responsibility of the country to protect their people.

Our health workers are dying of covid_19 because they have no PPEs and poor pay .

CORRUPTION IN KENYA

Devolution in Kenya was to facilitate and hasten regional development and to strike a balance on resources allocation throughout the country. But what we see is that devolution is serving as loop hole for public funds looting. My subject of address goes to Senate and governors. Yes,the Senate is a gate keeper in governors office but it’s function of current are not indipendent. Look,if you examine closely the process of impeachment in the Senate is governed by two things:

  1. If the governor manages the MCAs well, the governor will servive, meaning case will end in the Senate.
  2. If the governor is the fevourite in the political party or in favour of political party leaders, then the writing on the wall are very clear.

For the case the a bove two conditions neither exist, then the impeachment process will take place. My question is,where is the integrity of the Senate? The second question is, where is justice to tax payer if Senate has to operate on the above conditions.

We have to rethink a bout the operation of indipendent institutions

GOVERNOR KIRAITU LEADS MIRAA STAKEHOLDERS IN TALKS WITH MINISTRY OVER NEW MARKETS AFTER SOMALI SETBACK

The Governor of Meru County H.E. Kiraitu Murungi accompanied by Meru County Secretary and Head of Public Service Hon. Rufus Miriti, and Miraa farmers and traders Chairman Moses Lichoro, yester evening led a delegation of Miraa stakeholders in talks with
the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development on alternative Miraa markets that Meru County seeks to be explored in Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) and Maputo in Mozambique.

Governor Kiraitu-led Miraa delegation held lengthy and extensive discussions with officials from the State Department of Trade and Enterprise Development led by Cabinet Secretary Hon. Betty Maina and Permanent Secretary Amb. Johnson Weru.

The meeting comes after recent setbacks in the efforts initiated by Governor Kiraitu on the reopening of Miraa market in Somalia, which now require to be addressed at the diplomatic level. The Governor had hoped the Somalia market would be opened by now.

“I wish to thank the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta for being the first regime in Kenya to actively recognize and promote Miraa, as well as Miraa farmers and traders from Meru County by legalizing and passing a law to support the crop,” he said.

The mandate of the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development is to help promote Kenyan exports to markets that have shown potential.

After yesterday’s meeting it is anticipated that by the end of the third quarter next year ending around March in 2021, a review will be done on the progress that will have been made in the drive to explore the new export markets.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
